Hi,
I am a person who reads a lot of books and articles. I believe for an article to be more interesting, the correct grammar should be in its place. I have read some books where most of its sentencing is wrong. That easily becomes a turn off for me for I am unable to understand what the writer is trying to say hence I just stop reading.
Such scenarios are the reason why editors are required for every book or article. Editing and proofreading would make it a lot easier for books and articles to be understood by a majority of people. This would grab the interests of most of our readers out there.
I have never edited a book or an article before but I believe if given this chance, I would become really good at this job as I prefer reading a well written book or article among other things.
