I'm an engineering student from the Philippines. I'm looking for a part time jobs, particularly in proofreading, to maximize my time and also learn and develop new skills. I find proofreading as an ideal part-time jobs for students like me to earn money while still focusing on my studies.
Proof reading has become a habit of mine. In fact, I always offer my time to proofread my classmate's essays and such. I'm also a proofread volunteer on our school newspaper. I'm also literate with word processing, editorial software, and spreadsheets.
As a proofreader, I'm responsible for correcting spelling and punctuation mistakes, identifying grammatical errors, and checking for consistency in style and formatting. I also need to ensure that the content is free from factual errors and that it adheres to the intended tone and message. I can work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
