About KOCHI

“If you want to get some amazing pictures, HABIBI COME TO KOCHI !!!”

It is one of the most picturesque destinations in Kerala. Kochi, also known as Cochin, is a city on the green land of Kerala. It is marked as the “QUEEN OF THE ARABIAN SEA” because of its all-weather harbor and grand seascape.

HISTORY

KOCHI is also known as COCHIN. It has a very rich history, beautiful beaches, and diverse culture. It’s been a salient part of trading since the 14th century as it has traded spices with the Greeks, Romans, Jews, and Chinese people. Kochi is a bustling metropolis that offers a unique blend of traditional and modern lifestyles.

St. Francis Church was the first European church on Indian soil in 1510. The Jewish community was the oldest in India. Because of its beauty, no trip to Kerala is complete without visiting Kochi.

PLACES TO VISIT IN KOCHI

Visitors to Kochi browse from one article to another that is available on the internet while displaying signs of eagerness. The following is a list of some of Kochi's most well-liked spots to give them a fast sweet and sour taste of what other people encounter:

Fort Kochi: As soon as you enter Fort Kochi, you will find yourself in another era. The name may confuse many people, yet this location is a beach. A beach with an orange and yellow-tinted sunset over a cloudless sky. This location is rich with the history and culture of everyone who has lived there throughout the millennia. Its diversity makes its roots and essence distinct.
Mattancherry Palace: This 16th-century palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, is a stunning example of traditional Keralan architecture and is well-known for its murals that portray Hindu mythical tales. The Portuguese constructed it in Mattancherry, Ernakulam district, in 1557.
Hill Palace Museum: Formerly a palace, the Hill Palace Museum currently serves as a museum that presents Kerala's rich historical and cultural legacy. The largest archaeological museum in Kerala is located at the Hill Palace. It was constructed in 1865 and originally served as the Maharaja of Cochin's formal home and Imperial Administrative offices.
Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica: It is a lovely place of worship and a must-see for anybody interested in religious history. It is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. It is the second-oldest Diocese in India and is situated close to St. Francis Church. This church transports us far back in time to the shabby, ancient pages of the past filled with buildings.
St. Francis Church: St. Francis Church was the first European church to be erected in India and is one of the oldest churches in Europe. Vasco da Gama, a renowned explorer and the first Portuguese sailor to land in Kerala, passed away in 1524 while making his third trip to Kochi. In this Church, he was laid to rest.

So, it's worthwhile to visit Kochi for the picturesque splendor of this palace.

There are other locations as well, and visiting them will give you a virtual tour of heaven. Finally, make travel arrangements for a vacation in Kochi, Kerala.
