I’m 26 years, male and single. I graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science and finish all the units in my Masters in Public Administration program.
I am currently working as a Research Analyst in the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod under the supervision of a legislator/City Councilor for about 3 years.
My actual duties/functions include the conduct of policy and legal research and drafting of resolutions and ordinances. I help tracks legislations and identify and monitor specific issues. I am responsible in legislative drafting, legal services, and publications functions. Edits legislation and amendments, drafts office communications, speech, and other written work. I am performing administrative duties, including handling of constituent inquiries and casework and managing schedules. I perform the office visitations and field constituent surveys to gather important information with the potential to impact policy making and is responsible in the preparation of dialogue and committee hearings and provides assistance in the management of programs and other activities and performs other related functions.
I have wide range of experience as I am coordinating with different key officials and clientele from different sectors and, specifically, I am working in six (6) major committees in the Sangguniang Panlungsod, such as the the Committee on Urban Planning and Land Use, the Committee on Cooperatives, the Committee on Agriculture and Agrarian Relations, the Committee on Appropriations, Committee on Urban Poor, Peoples’ Organizations and NGOs, and the Committee on Awards.
I have also experience working in a non-bank financial institution as teller for about 2 years and my responsibilities includes, account management, transaction processing, record keeping, cross selling, cash handling, customer service and other functions as deemed necessary.
