Hi! I'm Maria, 24 years old, from the Philippines. Ever since I was a kid, I always had a penchant for English, as it fascinates me the most. My mom would always teach me how to read and write and how to speak with others using that language. My father, however, would bring me toys and other tools that'll help me understand English more. I had a good childhood because I became more advanced and smarter just because I learned a new language.
Fast forward, to my being asked to join several contests and winning some awards, I was really confident in my excellence. I joined impromptu English debates, journalism, and writing.
When I finished college, I looked for jobs, and I first landed as a Sales Consultant, and with my professionalism in English speaking, I managed to get a customer and sold my first car. Yes, just because I approached her properly, I was able to reach an accomplishment. Then in my second job, I was a Customer Service Representative at Quickbooks account, managing international clients. There, my patience and professionalism were tested, but I still managed to become calm.
