- Review and refine existing data against reliable sources to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of data.
- Logistics & Custom Clearance Manager:
- Ensuring the clearance of shipments from the Customs within the shortest possible time.
- Ensuring that annual Customs Duty Exemption which is obtained and applied for all applicable items.
- Receive and verify necessary clearing documents and forward them to the Customs Broker.
- Follow -up with the Customs Brokers/Appointed shipping companies for clearance of imported items within the shortest possible time and/or the agreed period.
- Request and get approval for payment of Customs Duty on non-exempted items, and forward advance payment requests to Accounts for releasing the payments.
- Reviewing submitted invoices from the Custom Broker, scrutinize and get approval for payment from the Accounts Manager and passing it to Accounts.
- Follow up of customs duty refund claims from customs authorities; such as ATRA, ARD and Ministry of Finance.
- Reviewing and summarizing the Appeal Cases with custom departments.
