Learning can be fun if fused with varied activities and discourse that will not just make the learner learn, but more importantly build trust and confidence between a tutor and a tutee, a teacher, and a student.
For the past 10 years of teaching, I have been exposed to varied students with different levels and attitudes. I have the opportunity to work in public and private schools where I have realized that there is a gap in the learning process. I have been a tutor for many years and handled several learners from different grade levels. My expertise is English, yet I am also tasked to tutor other subjects which is also good on my part since the lessons in elementary are not that difficult to manage. I am also a public speaker and currently teaching a one-on-one (face-to-face) class with my 27-year-old massage therapist, working on an international cruise ship. She wants to improve her communication skills which is why I give speaking activities.
Learning can be fun if fused with varied activities to make the learning vibrant and interactive. Learners will learn more and retain lots of experiences if they are enjoying what they are doing.
