Hi,
As math tutor I should guide my student through the solution process, not just show how it's done. I will ask the student leading questions that will direct him or her to discover the correct steps. Avoid doing problems for the student. In toturing a students, I should possess this skills:
- appreciate students as individuals.
- used to tailoring resources for individual needs.
- can integrate IT into your lessons.
- good at explaining concepts.
- an excellent role-model.
- able to help students progress.
- ability to establish a strong trust and rapport with their student
I am an Agriculture Engineering graduates. I am good role model. I want to help kids progress.A good tutor will complete the work with them to ensure that they have a grasp over the topic before venturing onto a new one.
