I have 5 years experience in the translation industry. I have worked with various journalists from Zimbabwe, Kenya, NGOs and have done a translation that was screened on CNN.
I have done several translation pieces. I have translated several hours of video for many different organisations. Using the shortest time codes possible to make someone who does not know the video language to fully comprehend the whole content contained in the video.
I enjoy translating because for me it is now a way through which I get to know what is happening in different parts of the world. I get to relate to some media content I will be translating to an extent that, instead of being a job, for me translating is more like embarking on an adventure in the world of different beauties, pains, horrors and most of all hope for a better life for all.
