Hi! I'm Elie, and I have an A* in English Language for my GCSE Cambridge exams, and I have worked for quite a while in the field. I'm a writer, former journalist and have contributed to numerous articles. I prefer to keep classes short and precise while targeting nothing but the best grades there are, while ensuring that lessons are kept clear and precise, tailoring my teaching methodology to each individual student- a skill passed down through generations of English teachers in my family.

Our focus will be to ensure full completion necessary lessons, target grades and work towards them in digestible bites rather than chunks of information hoarding.

I have lead the English Literary Association of my school for 2 consecutive terms, and been Vice President of the Media Unit during my final year. Throughout my tenure, I have contributed to not just helping the students of my school, but external students too to experience the language and all its possibilities, staying true to my dream of quality and accessible language education worldwide.

I am currently a Third Year BSc student at the London School of Economics and Politics (LSE), majoring in Management and Development Studies, while also working on my passion projects.

Hi My name is Aisha. I am from Nigeria. Learning is these times have crossed from the four walls of a classroom. with the help if the internet, its easier to access tutors from one side of the globe to another. Learning, however, has become quite fun, easy and creative. When coupled with a passionate tutor who enjoys making learning easy, students learning becomes an enjoyable experience. Learning is easily be retained and students are more excited to practice what has been taught.

I did not always enjoy teaching. Student didn't always understood what I taught and that had tonns of questions I was always tired of answering. 

What changed? Seeing things through the eyes of my students! I noticed that though they wanted to understand, the complex lesson notes and impracticable and outdated examples were not making them see the possibilities of what they were being taught.

I was sad to see that other tutors were not sensitive to this aspect of the student's learning process. 

So i changed my approach. Being creative and practical as much as i could made a whole lot of difference. Their responses while in class improved. Their grades got better and the general outlook of the class became more lively.
