Mental Health Issue: Does It Really Matter?

We are living in the generation that is full of chaos, a state of life which has an impulsive way of making decisions and implementing consequences that directly affects our well-being. Everyday, if we're just listening to the news, browsing our social media platforms and even listening to the talks of the small towns, there are individuals who are suffering depressions leading of cutting-off their own lives.

Starting from the students who failed the examination, to the professionals who cannot reach their goals of living, to the multi-millionaire who cannot bear the burden of responsibilities, to the victims of blackmails and to ordinary person who got disappointed in life. Depression may lead to suicidal actions and the cause of so-called depression may not be specific but it triggers when our mental health has an issue.

This world is not our home, we are just temporary here so we have to make our stay enjoyable and fulfilling. But how can we experience them if we are having a mental health issue? How can we cope with this crisis? Now, I will give some tips based on my personal experience and surveys who had experienced this issue.

First is to get enough sleep. Our brain can function well if we sleep atleast 8 hours a day (but don't oversleep). It is also helpful to change some lifestyle and eat healthy food. I can assure that good food can boost your mood for a day. Next, you can also connect with positive people around. Choose your circle carefully because this reflects to your hobbies and way of thinking. And last, seek some support from your family and love ones and always pray for the guidance of God in your everyday activity.

The tips I've given are effective not just for me but also to my my acquaintances who once suffered anxiety and depression which deteriorated their mental health. And yes, this issue does matter!

I started writing right from when I was young because I always knew I had a passion for writing despite wanting to become other things in future, writing was my safe space, it helped me when I felt down but I didn't create it as an only place for feeling safe. My dad is a hard working man he is my role model and also my mom my dad works hard for us so that he can be able to fend for us my mom on the other hand is a business woman any day that goes by without her making money she will become worried about us. my dad is a government worker and wants to see me and my siblings succeed in life he keeps praying for us and me and my siblings keeps praying that God should strengthen him and my mother and provide for them

My senior sister which is in the university studying nursing is the most nicest person I have ever meet my third sister is a quiet person and like to keep things to herself she is often bullied in school because of how quiet she is my brother is an active person he likes playing football and his favorite color is green my last sister is just like me I am quite and out spoken at the same time I love making friends with people that will add value to my life am an introvert and I love listening to music and watching movies I also love reading, sleeping and reading I stayed at home for 4 years without going to school I prayed to God for him to send me to school and provide for my parents to support me until God answered my prayers and now am in the university studying law 

Am so happy and blessed for the parents and siblings I have despite the attitude I display quite funny though my family we are rich because we can afford a Three square meal in our house and everyday I hope that I can help and support my parents with online jobs
