I can quickly fill up forms through data entry, although I have no official work experience, I do a lot of paperworks academically. I have an average of 75 words per minute in my typing skills. Since school had just ended and my vacation has started, I would like to be productive with my free time and might as well make money out of it. Aside from these factors, I also wanted to add it to my experience since I am halfway done through college.

I want to have some type of experience in working before having to get a job officially after getting my degree. This type of experience can be vital for my growth as a student, as a worker, and as a person. I believe this will help me grow and bring me new realizations about life and the different types of industry that I might encounter down the road. Staring up into the sky, as the clouds rolled by, a wave of calmness ran through her body and this was all wanted to see at that moment. Taking a deep breath in, and exhaling all the lingering thoughts, wanting to forget everything and just living right there and then. 

It wasn’t long before her apprehensiveness kicked right back in. the world was in shambles; her world was in shambles and there is nothing she could do about it. She knew she was heading towards a great debacle. The valiant efforts were just a waste. As her world began its plummet into chaos, the idea of being happy again was more elusive than ever. Inhale. Her eyes dropped down, her life flashed before her eyes, looking back at life in a montage, she gives away her beautiful saccharine smile one last time as she gets ready to say her goodbyes to the enigma called life. She was done, she was done fighting her battles, she was done putting up a facade, she was done waiting for the triumph. Breathing out the last bit of air she had in lungs, she left, just like that.

All that was left of her were fading memories, broken hearts, and ever flowing tears of the people who loved her. There are some defeats more triumphant than victories, but this was certainly not one of them, at least not for the people she left behind.

My name is Joel Nkanta. I have over 15 years experience in Media and Journalism. I started my career as Sub Editor at Daily Times of Nigeria. Thereafter, I joined Intra-West Africa Ltd, Accra, Ghana, as Senior Writer and grew there to the position of Editor before I joined the Directorate of Media and Publicity, National Open University of Nigeria, where I have served for the past 14 years. 

At it would be recalled there are different kinds of forms in the University environment. Both staff and students inevitable fill one type of form or another almost on a daily basis. In my everyday schedules, I have come across and worked on different kinds of forms ranging from simple to complex ones. Data Entry requires meticulous approach to details.
