" But mom, I don't want to get married, I'm just too young, your allowing dad to take control over you, please, don't do this to me", I said pleading but all fell on deaf years. There was no other way I was going to marry a man I didn't even know. I stood up from my bed and looked at my bruised self and tears rolled out, the wounds hurt.

I knew that if someone would talk some sense to mom, she couldn't have done this, bit her child because of love.

" Yvonne, don't let me call you again get down here", mom said yelling from downstairs.

" I'm coming", I said putting on my night gown as I rushed downstairs.

" I've already set dinner, go get dressed, remember'Mommy loves you'".

" Love you say, what an irony!", I said walking out of the cuisine.

" Yvonne, come back here", mom said but I ignored her.
